Les d\u00e9chets plastiques se d\u00e9composent en microplastiques qui se retrouvent dans le sable, dans la mer, sont mang\u00e9s par les animaux et finissent dans notre alimentation et notre corps. La production de p\u00e2te \u00e0 papier &#8211; utilis\u00e9e pour fabriquer des emballages en carton au Br\u00e9sil &#8211; repr\u00e9sente \u00e0 elle seule 7,2 millions d&rsquo;hectares, soit deux fois la taille de la Belgique. En outre, la plupart des emballages alimentaires en papier contiennent encore une doublure en plastique, ce qui signifie que nous rejetons toujours du plastique dans notre environnement.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ce qui est \u00e9galement consternant, c&rsquo;est que, que ce soit sur la c\u00f4te flamande ou dans <a href=\"https:\/\/www.citytoocean.org\/brand-audit-2024-nl\/\">les canaux bruxellois<\/a>, les d\u00e9chets que nous trouvons sont toujours les m\u00eames : les m\u00eames d\u00e9chets plastiques comme les contenants alimentaires et les emballages individuels, et les m\u00eames gobelets et plateaux en carton. A quelques variantes pr\u00e8s &#8211; les m\u00e9gots de cigarettes et les serviettes en papier ont \u00e9t\u00e9 moins retrouv\u00e9s dans le canal de Bruxelles &#8211; ce sont toujours les m\u00eames d\u00e9chets. Les m\u00eames emballages, mis sur le march\u00e9 par les m\u00eames producteurs. Il est temps de responsabiliser ces producteurs.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Du constat \u00e0 l&rsquo;action : faire payer les vrais pollueurs<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Identifier le probl\u00e8me est un bon d\u00e9but, mais nous avons besoin d&rsquo;actions concr\u00e8tes de la part des producteurs et des gouvernements r\u00e9gionaux et f\u00e9d\u00e9raux pour le r\u00e9soudre. De nombreuses solutions existent d\u00e9j\u00e0 pour r\u00e9duire la montagne de d\u00e9chets qui menace notre environnement et notre sant\u00e9. Des projets tels que Circular Wallonia ou Green Deal Anders Verpakt sont un bon d\u00e9but, mais si l&rsquo;on investissait autant dans la pr\u00e9vention et le r\u00e9emploi que dans les nouvelles solutions de recyclage (chimique), la Belgique serait bien plus avanc\u00e9e dans la transition vers l&rsquo;\u00e9conomie circulaire ;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Interdire l&rsquo;utilisation d&rsquo;all\u00e9gations vertes telles que \u00ab Planet Safe Plastic \u00bb<\/b><span>. Les produits portant ces labels finissent toujours par devenir des d\u00e9chets dans la nature et peuvent avoir l&rsquo;effet secondaire ind\u00e9sirable de rendre les consommateurs moins conscients de l&rsquo;impact nocif potentiel de leurs d\u00e9chets.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span><strong>Interdire les emballages difficiles ou impossibles \u00e0 recycler en circuit ferm\u00e9<\/strong>, tels que les sachets (CapriSun, etc.).<\/span><\/li>\n<li><strong>Obliger les supermarch\u00e9s \u00e0 passer \u00e0 la vente en vrac<\/strong> et aux syst\u00e8mes de \u00ab\u00a0refill\u00a0\u00bb.<span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dans leur nouvel accord de coalition, la <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.vlaanderen.be\/publicaties\/vlaams-regeerakkoord-2024-2029-samen-werken-aan-een-warm-en-welvarend-vlaanderen\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Flandre<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> et la <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/mobilite.wallonie.be\/files\/politiques-mobilite\/DPR2024-2029.pdf\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Wallonie<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> mentionnent toutes deux le principe du \u00ab pollueur-payeur \u00bb, mais malheureusement sans aucune mesure concr\u00e8te.
