FRF and Consumentenbond call on minister to introduce mandatory deposit returns

FRF and the Consumentenbond are calling on the Minister for Climate to improve the deposit return scheme in the Netherlands. Too many bottles and cans still end up in the bin or on the street. Especially when people are on the go, there are too few places where they can return their bottle or can. Therefore, FRF and the Consumentenbond are appealing to the minister to introduce a mandatory take-back obligation. This means you can always return your bottle or can at places where they sell the same bottles and cans.
